Weather

A calm and sunny start to the morning, By late morning, the first gusts of the wind will be felt in some areas, Wind at altitude will be from the north then strong from the east up to 60 km/h. The wind will die down overnight. By midday, the clouds may spread moving further west.  
The freezing level will fall to 2000 m. 

Currently at 8am it is  -7°C up at the Pisaillas, -4°C at the top of Bellevarde, -3 degrees up on solaise and -4°C here in town. Today we can expect a top of 1°C in the village.

Ecomove Day

Ecomove Day, organized by Vie Val d'Is, will take place this afternoon in the Tourist Office Square. For this tenth edition, the square will be transformed into an anti-waste village.

For this afternoon dedicated to sustainable development, the event's partners will offer numerous activities and stands.

La Farandole Avaline and the association La Sauce will have a cake stand and a refreshment bar. Other activities and entertainment will be available, such as a large charity sale, zero-waste cooking and workshops, a smoothie bike, an exhibition, and a disco-soup event at 5:30 pm. Ecomove Day will be held at the Tourist Office Square from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Signal Derby

The Signal Derby is tomorrow! Registration begins today at the La Sauce association's stand, which will be present at Ecomove Day. Registration will also continue tomorrow, on-site at Le Fornet, from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM. As a reminder, this race has only one rule: the one who takes the least time between the starting line and the finish line wins. Participants are free to choose their line on a course extensively marked by the Val d'Isère Ski Patrol to ensure everyone's safety. All snow sports equipment is permitted on the slopes. Registration is limited to 99 participants, and wearing a helmet and avalanche transceiver is mandatory.

CCAS

CCAS seniors are invited to a walk in Le Manchet. They will meet around 1:45 pm at the Tourist Office bus stop to catch the 2 pm shuttle to the Manchet Valley. The seniors will enjoy a pleasant walk to the ruins at the bottom of the Manchet Valley. For those feeling energetic, the activity will continue at the Tourist Office Square, heading to Ecomove Day to participate in the various activities offered.

Cross-country skiing

The grand finale of the nighttime cross-country ski race is tonight at the Place des Dolomites. In pairs, participants will tackle a loop with bumps and banked turns, specially prepared for the occasion by the Ski Patrol. A friendly and sporty race, all about fun, where families and friends can challenge the instructors and locals. For 20 minutes, participants will have to complete as many laps as possible in an American-style relay to reach the podium and win numerous prizes. For this final race of the season, two heats will be held. The first, at 7:00 PM, will be for beginners, and the second, at 7:30 PM, will be for experienced riders. Equipment will be provided by rental shops at Place des Dolomites, and hot drinks will be available. Registration and practice sessions will take place on-site starting at 6:45 PM for both heats.

Photo Contest

The Haute Tarentaise Vanoise Community of Municipalities is once again organizing its photo contest as part of a new open-air photo exhibition, which will be on display this summer along the Green Way, located between Séez and Villaroger. Under the theme "Reflections of Life," amateur and professional photographers are invited to showcase the region, what fosters community, and what connects them to the natural world. Photos must be taken within the territory of the Haute Tarentaise Community of Municipalities, specifically in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Les Arcs, Les Chapelles, Montvalezan, La Rosière, Sainte Foy Tarentaise, Séez, Tignes, Val d'Isère, and Villaroger. Applications must be submitted via a form, and the deadline is Thursday, March 26th.

Transports

-  Red Shuttle (La Daille - Le Fornet) every 10 minutes. After nightfall, departures from La Daille from 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM and from Le Fornet from 6:50 PM to 2:50 AM. A shuttle
every 20 minutes.
-  Blue Shuttle (Roundabout at the slopes – Legettaz): every 15 minutes from 8:30
a.m. to 11:20 p.m.
-  Yellow Shuttle (Le Coin – Le Manchet): first departure from Le Coin at 8:28 a.m. and last arrival at Le Manchet at 11:20 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes.
-  Purple Shuttle (Val d’Isère – Tignes): first departure from the new bus station at
8:05 a.m. and last at 6:20 p.m. Two request stops are planned on this route,
including La Reculaz and Le Villaret du Nial.
