Roads
The road to Le Fornet, from the Richardes roundabout, has been closed to all traffic since 9 p.m. yesterday until further notice following an avalanche. Due to the avalanche risk, the roads to Le Fornet and Le Châtelard remain closed to pedestrians. Safety instructions concerning buildings remain in effect.

PIDA
Due to the snowfall since yesterday, an avalanche control plan (PIDA) has been in effect since 6:50 a.m. across the entire ski area.
Gas Leak
A major incident involving a hydrocarbon odor occurred yesterday afternoon near the Route de la Face, the Bellevarde ascent, and the Route de la Balme. Reconnaissance and search operations were conducted in several areas, including underground utilities and buildings. Explosimeter readings were negative, with no detectable odor. The operation lasted from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and involved two fire engines from Val d'Isère and Tignes, a hazardous materials response vehicle from Albertville, and the fire chiefs from Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
Little Torches
Last night, around a hundred children accompanied by their parents participated in the "Little Torches" charity event on the Savonnette slope, organized by the Val d'Isère ESF (French Ski School). Our village was one of 150 resorts to hold a simultaneous torchlight descent. As a reminder, all proceeds will be donated to three committed charities: Enfance et Montagne, Génération Montagne, and Petits Princes, to help children who don't have the opportunity to go on vacation discover the mountains.
Electoral Commission
With less than a month to go before the municipal elections, the electoral roll review commission will meet this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at the Maison Marcel Charvin. This commission is responsible for verifying the accuracy of changes made to the electoral rolls and, if necessary, reviewing mandatory prior administrative appeals. The meeting is open to the public. As a reminder, the first round of municipal elections will take place on Sunday, March 15.
Dynastar Trophy
As every Friday during the school holidays, the Dynastar Trophy will be held on the Savonnette slope. Holidaymakers can participate in a parallel slalom with direct elimination, open to all, to experience the thrills of competitive skiing. Prizes from the resort's partner brand will be up for grabs, as well as a pair of skis in a prize draw. Registration is today from 9:00 AM at the Sports Club. Please note that places are limited to 32 for men and children and 16 for women. Bib collection will take place at 5:30 PM before the start of the race, scheduled for 5:45 PM.
Loyalty Medal
Four new loyalty medals were presented to a family by their sponsor, Christine Bonnevie, at a hotel-restaurant in Val Village. Marion Boone received the copper medal for her 15 years of loyalty. Marion Boone comes to the resort with her family.
Her partner, Cédric Soleau, also received the copper medal for his 15 years in Val d'Isère. His love for Val d'Isère was passed down to him by his parents and grandparents.
With his partner, Cédric Soleau surprised his parents by presenting them with a loyalty medal. His mother, Catherine Soleau, received the grand gold medal for her more than 50 years of loyalty. Catherine Soleau reminisces about fond childhood and summer memories.
Her husband, Philippe Soleau, also received the grand gold medal for his 53 years in Val d'Isère. Philippe Soleau reminisces about many family memories, skiing trips, and encounters.

- Yellow Shuttle (Le Coin – Le Manchet): first departure from Le Coin at 8:28 a.m. and last arrival at Le Manchet at 11:20 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes.
- Purple Shuttle (Val d’Isère – Tignes): first departure from the new bus station at
7:55 a.m. and last at 6:20 p.m. Two request stops are planned on this route,
including La Reculaz and Le Villaret du Nial.
