Reveil Avalin
Last night, the third public meeting of the Le Réveil Avalin list for the municipal elections was held at the Les Tontons restaurant in the hamlet of La Daille. All the candidates, led by Xavier Mattis, presented themselves to the approximately forty people in attendance. Le Réveil Avalin outlined the four main points of its platform. This presentation was followed by a discussion on several topics, including planned projects in the La Daille district, initiatives to revitalize the summer and off-seasons, the issue of year-round housing, and the closure of numerous establishments during the shoulder seasons of winter. The next and final meeting will be held this Sunday at 6:00 PM at the restaurant located on the snow front.

Clément Noël Olympics

Val d'Isère and the Sports Club are supporting Clément Noël. Today, our reigning Olympic champion will attempt to defend his title in the slalom event at the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games. He will start with bib number 4. To support their representative, the Val d'Isère Sports Club is organizing a fan zone in front of the Sports Club on the snow front. A giant screen will broadcast the two runs live, scheduled for 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Several activities will take place. DJ Julio will provide music between runs, and a food and drink stand will be available so you don't miss a thing. Due to expected weather disruptions, the fan zone may be moved inside the Sports Club.

Vie Val d'Is Thrift Store

Vie Val d'Is is appealing for donations for its thrift store. If you no longer use certain items or clothing, if they are cluttering up your space, and you would like to give them a second life, you can donate them to the association's thrift store. Similar to a reuse center, the thrift store collects items such as recent winter clothing, linens, kitchen utensils, and ski equipment (excluding helmets for safety reasons). Clean, good-quality donations are then resold at a symbolic price between €1 and €50. If you wish to donate, you can contact Vie Val d'Is by email or phone, or visit them directly at the Maison de Val. The thrift store is open year-round during Vie Val d'Is's regular opening hours.
