Weather 

Today expect Sunshine and warmth and the presence of small cumulus clouds in the afternoon with temperatures completely out of season. The freezing level is at 3300 m and winds today will be very light from the southwest.

Town Council

Friday's town council meeting report is available in full on our website. The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 27, in the Council room at the Maison Marcel Charvin. We will inform you of the time.

French Championships

Unbeatable. Clément Noël wins his sixth French championship title in slalom at the French Championships in Tignes. At the 113th edition, the Val d'Isère native proved his talent. He had already won the title in 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Defending champion Théo Lopez takes the silver medal, and Val d'Isère native Victor Muffat-Jeandet completes the podium with the bronze medal.

Noah Pezeirat

Noah Pezeirat makes Freeride history by becoming the first Val d'Isère native to qualify for the Freeride World Tour. At 19, he finished third in the final Challenger event in Sauze in the Southern Alps. He ended his Freeride World Tour Challenger season by securing third place overall with a total of 11,265 points.

Low Countries Championships

After the Luxembourg Championships, it was the turn of the Belgian FIS race to take to the slopes yesterday morning. In the men's competition, Swiss skier Joël Luetolf took the victory in 1 minute and 40 seconds, followed by French skiers Sacha Dimier Chambet and Flavio Vitale from Tignes. Tom Badey from Val d'Isère finished 32nd. In the women's competition, Swiss skier Aline Danioth once again triumphed in 1 minute and 38 seconds, followed by Belgian Kim Vanreusel and Italian Maria Sole Antonini. Lila Rivet from Val d'Isère did not finish during the second run. Other races will take place until Friday, starting at 9:30 a.m. on the OK and Orange slopes.

Easter Tea at the Daycare

To celebrate Easter, seniors from the CCAS (Social Action Center) are invited to an intergenerational tea with the children from the daycare. The event will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the daycare.

Snowpark Contest

The Val d'Isère Snowpark is hosting its Snowpark Contest this morning. Skiers and snowboarders can participate in a competition on various features and also compete against other participants for a chance to win numerous prizes. Helmets are strongly recommended. The competition will be followed by a barbecue with a DJ set of reggae, dub, and hip-hop by Juggla Sound. Registration is free and can be done on-site.

This Thursday, the Fatbike team invites you to a special evening at Les Crozets! Departing from the Fatbike chalet at 5:30 pm, enjoy a 1.5-hour guided fatbike ride before savoring a fondue at the Les Crozets restaurant in Le Fornet. This fatbike outing is limited to 12 people and is open to all. Book your spot today! The Les Crozets restaurant is, of course, open to everyone and is also accessible by the Le Fornet shuttle.

-  Red Shuttle (La Daille - Le Fornet) every 10 minutes. After nightfall, departures from La Daille from 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM and from Le Fornet from 6:50 PM to 2:50 AM. A shuttle
every 20 minutes.
-  Blue Shuttle (Roundabout at the slopes – Legettaz): every 15 minutes from 8:30
a.m. to 11:20 p.m.
-  Yellow Shuttle (Le Coin – Le Manchet): first departure from Le Coin at 8:28 a.m. and last arrival at Le Manchet at 11:20 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes.
-  Purple Shuttle (Val d’Isère – Tignes): first departure from the new bus station at
8:05 a.m. and last at 6:20 p.m. Two request stops are planned on this route,
including La Reculaz and Le Villaret du Nial.
