Weather

After a clear start to the morning, cloud cover will arrive rapidly from the South, with a storm front rolling into the area. The storm is predicted to bring a total of 30 cm of fresh snow by tomorrow. A strong South-Easterly wind will be present across our mountains, with gusts of up to 110 km/hr throughout the day. Currently, it's a little calmer than that at Pisaillas, where we are recording gusts of up to 50 km/hr.
As for temperatures, at 9:30 a.m. it's 0°C in the village, -7°C at the top of Bellevarde and -10°C at Pisaillas. Today we can expect a top of 0°C at 2000m.

Roads

Another complicated day is ahead of us on the roads this Saturday, with 33,000 vehicles expected today on the way up and 34,000 on the way down. In the direction of arrivals, expect a traffic jam on the expressway between Albertville and Moutiers from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

As for departures, there is already dense traffic between Bourg St. Maurice and Moutiers, which is predicted to start to clear up around 5 o'clock. If you have to leave today, consider taking advantage of one last day with us, and leave the village after 4 p.m., in order to avoid most of the traffic.

The weather should further complicate traffic conditions, with 30 cm of snow expected in the village by Sunday morning.
