WEATHER
Another sunny ski day,
with a temperature inversion so cooler in the village
than on our peaks
with only a light breeze.
At 9.30 the temperature is
- -9° in the Village.
- -2° on Solaise.
- -3° on Bellevarde.
- -7° on Pisaillas.
ROADS
Traffic is still slow in the area of Saturday's huge rock fall, near Moutiers.
Hopefully you are here for at least a week....
and it will be sorted in time for your return home.
SKI REPORT
For the most up-to-date information please click here
Here are the highlights of the ski report.
Sun, snow, beautifully groomed Slopes
with nearly everything is open.
The few exceptions :
The Signal draglift in le Fornet
had a pylon damaged in an accident recently
but are techie team are working very hard
to replace it ASAP.
the 3000 draglift on Solaise needs a huge dump of snow
before it can open.
The Santons and L are open but they are gulleys with
large slabs hanging above them.
They will be closed if our expert patrollers
are worried that an avalanche could bury YOU.
Never ski on a closed piste
ON BELLEVARDE
If high jumps, bends and bumps are your thing,
more obstacles have opened in the Snow Park.
ON SOLAISE
Only the 3000 is closed.
LE FORNET
Everything IS OPEN
Except Tunnel and Signal pistes.
ON PISAILLAS
They are preparing the Cascade which
May open today
The avalanche risk today is three out of five
This is not a medium risk, it is a considerable risk.
Particularly if you wander far from our pistes
onto slopes that haven't been skied
as you may find a fragile base with a wind slab
which could take you for a ride.
If you fancy skiing off piste, look carefully at your
mates.
Better with a beer than a beep ?
ANY USE if ANYTHING goes wrong ?
Do they all at least have
beep, probe and shovel and know how to use them ?
Practiced this year ?
Any doubts ? Stay on piste.
