This morning there will be some cloud cover which bring snow showers during the morning. The afternoon will be unsettled and changeable, with irregular snow showers. The temperature will reach a high of -2°C during the day. A very light breeze (1 to 7 km/h) will blow throughout the day. Occasionally, gusts up to 35 km/h may occur.

The roads will remain clear however due to current snowfall ensure you are equipped with winter tyres and be prepared with chains or snow socks.

Gérard Mattis
This afternoon, you can pay your respects to Gérard Mattis at the Saint-Roch Chapel in Val d'Isère. As a reminder, Gérard Mattis passed away last week at the age of 78. The funeral service will be held this Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Saint-Bernard Church de Menthon.
Milan-Cortina Olympics
To support its reigning Olympic champion, Val d'Isère will be supporting Clément Noël at the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games by setting up a fan zone. A giant screen will be installed on the snow front, in front of the Sports Club, on Monday, February 16th, to broadcast both runs live. Various activities will be offered between the two runs and will be announced soon. This is an opportunity for the residents of Val d'Isère to experience the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games and follow the performance live, hoping for another Olympic medal for Val d'Isère.
Voter Registration
The municipal elections are approaching. To be able to vote, voter registration is essential. You have until Wednesday to register online and until Friday to register directly at the town hall. To be able to vote in the municipal elections, which will take place on March 15 and 22, three conditions must be met: you must be of legal age (18 years old), be a French citizen or a citizen of the European Union, and live in Val d'Isère for at least six months a year, or have your business based in the village. It is advisable to check your situation as soon as possible if you have recently moved or if this is your first time voting.
Seasonal Worker Survey
To better understand the realities of seasonal work, the municipality is conducting a study on seasonal employment needs. Therefore, it has created a questionnaire for seasonal workers and their employers, particularly regarding living and housing conditions in the resort. This survey consists of 14 questions in French and English and is available online on the town hall website.

Avaline Games returns today! Val d'Isère offers a new challenge inspired by the Olympics and a popular Korean series. Compete against other players in a series of traditional children's games, sporting challenges, strategic games, and skill tests on the snow. A unique playing field and a first for the event, open to everyone and accessible from age 8. Parental supervision is required. Meet at 5:45 pm on the Savonnette slope.

- Purple Shuttle (Val d’Isère – Tignes): first departure from the new bus station at
7:55 a.m. and last at 6:20 p.m. Two request stops are planned on this route,
including La Reculaz and Le Villaret du Nial.
