The Classicaval classical music festival returns to Val d'Isère for its 32nd edition. Throughout the week, Classicaval will take us on a musical journey from Baroque to Classical, and also into Romanticism, thanks to five talented musicians.
Before the official start of the festival, a musical prelude is being held this evening by invitation only, offering an opportunity to meet the artists.
For this first edition, there will be three concerts to choose from every evening at 6:30 pm, from Tuesday to Thursday, in the Church of Saint-Bernard de Menthon.
For everyone's comfort and safety, the town council reminds everyone that dogs must be kept on a leash in residential areas, on ski slopes, playgrounds, and parks.
After Madonna di Campilio, the French once again shone in the World Cup slalom at Adelbaden in Switzerland. Paco Rassa took the victory in 1 minute and 51 seconds, followed by Norwegians Atle Lie McGrath and Henrik Kristoffersen. Steven Amyer finished 7th, followed one hundredth of a second later by Clément Noël, who encountered some difficulties.
Victor Muffat-Jeandet made a strong comeback, finishing 12th.
The next World Cup slalom event will take place next Sunday in Wengen, Switzerland.
The regional prefect reminds us to remain vigilant after the heavy snowfall, as this past weekend there has been 5 fatalities reported and several people injured in the Savoie region including 2 fatalities here in val disere over the weekend. A reminder for those going off-piste, never ski alone, always have the proper safety equipment with you, and if you are unsure of where to go or what to do, please consider hiring a guide.

at Le Manchet at 11:20 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes.
- Purple Shuttle (Val d’Isère – Tignes): first departure from the new bus station at
7:55 a.m. and last at 6:20 p.m. Two request stops are planned on this route,
including La Reculaz and Le Villaret du Nial.
