Beer keg injury
On Wednesday, an empty metal beer keg weighing approximately 30 kilos hurtled down the Face run and came to a stop after hitting a skier. The victim sustained serious injuries, including a broken arm and a suspected wrist injury. She was quickly attended to by the ski patrol, then by Médival, before being transported to the hospital in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The keg belongs to one of the mountain restaurants located on the Face de Bellevarde. It fell from a trailer being transported by a quad bike that was carrying supplies from the restaurant to the chairlift. A complaint will be filed and an investigation will be opened to determine the circumstances.
Municipal Election Questions
With the municipal elections approaching, Radio Val d'Isère invites you to submit your questions to the two electoral lists. The questionnaire is available on our website. Questions will be grouped by theme, anonymized, summarized if several questions are similar, and selected in a neutral and balanced manner. Following this questionnaire, the lead candidates, Patrick Martin for L'Impulsion Avaline and Xavier Mattis for Le Réveil Avalin, will answer questions from Val d'Isère residents individually in an interview.
