Milan Cortina Olympics
No Olympic medal for Clément Noël and Nils Allègre. The duo finished 5th in the team combined yesterday in Bormio, just 13 hundredths of a second from the podium. Despite his teammate's performance in the downhill race opening a door to the podium, the reigning Olympic champion and French flag bearer posted the 10th fastest time in the slalom. The gold medal was won by the Swiss pair Franjo Von Allmen and Tanguy Nef. Our French athletes are now focusing on the individual slalom event, which will take place next Monday.
Tourism Breakfast
Val d'Isère Tourism is organizing its first tourism breakfast of the year this morning. This event will be an opportunity for tourism professionals to discuss the Tourist Office's partnerships. The tourism breakfast will be held this morning at 10:00 AM at the hotel located opposite Les Richardes.
National Ski Patrollers' Day
This Tuesday is dedicated to National Ski Patrollers' Day. To mark the occasion, the Val d'Isère Ski Patrol Association is organizing various activities and awareness campaigns about ski patrol safety. Ski patrollers will have a stand in front of the Sports Club on the snow front. They will provide information about the ski patroller profession and demonstrate their various equipment to passersby, such as the sled and the ski tow.
Demonstrations will also be held with snow groomers and ski patrol dogs and their handlers. You can meet the Ski Patrol from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ski patrollers will also participate in the torchlight descent organized this evening by the Val d'Isère ski instructors.
Ski Show
The sky will be ablaze with color. The independent ski instructors of Val d'Isère invite you to the first torchlight descent of the year. It will feature a DJ and will be followed by a fireworks display. Hot drinks will be available, with a deposit in reusable cups, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Val d'Isère Handisport Association. Meet at 6:30 PM at the bottom of the Bellevarde slope.
Zero-Waste Cooking Workshop
The CCAS (Social Action Center) is offering a cooking workshop this evening on zero-waste tips. An opportunity to share a friendly moment, learn new tips and tricks, and cook smart. In small groups, the CCAS (Community Social Action Center) invites you to discover simple and accessible techniques, exchange ideas, and above all, enjoy delicious meals. Throughout the year, several workshops will be offered and open to everyone. A chef from the resort will be there especially for the occasion to teach you how to prepare tasty, zero-waste, and responsible dishes. The workshop is free but requires registration. Meet at 7:00 PM in the Presbytery Hall, 14 rue de l’Église.

This Thursday, the Fatbike team invites you to a special evening at Les Crozets! Departing from the Fatbike chalet at 5:30 pm, enjoy a 1.5-hour fatbike ride with an instructor before savoring a fondue at the Les Crozets restaurant in Le Fornet. This fatbike outing is limited to 12 people and is open to all. Book your spot today. The Les Crozets restaurant is, of course, open to everyone and is also accessible by the Le Fornet shuttle.

- Yellow Shuttle (Le Coin – Le Manchet): first departure from Le Coin at 8:28 a.m. and last arrival at Le Manchet at 11:20 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes.
- Purple Shuttle (Val d’Isère – Tignes): first departure from the new bus station at
7:55 a.m. and last at 6:20 p.m. Two request stops are planned on this route,
including La Reculaz and Le Villaret du Nial.
