Today will be overcast and cloudy with a chance of light snowfall later this afternoon. The snow-rain limit will sit down around 1200m, and we can expect an accumulation of upto 5cm of snow by Thursday morning. A light Southerly wind will be blowing across the mountains getting upto 40km/hr in exposed areas.
Currently it is -9.5°C up at the Pisaillas, -5.5°C at the top of Bellevarde,and +1°C here in town. Today we can expect a top of 2°C in the village.
Roads
The roads are clear and free of snow.

Earlier this morning, at around 6 o'clock, an avalanche control test was carried out above the avalanche barrier in the forest located between Tignes les Boisses and Tignes le Lac. For safety reasons, the road was closed for about ten minutes.
In line with its ongoing efforts to digitize administrative procedures, the town will be introducing a single online portal for submitting all planning applications. From January 15th onwards, all applications for building permits, prior declarations, development permits, demolition permits, planning certificates, declarations of intent to sell, and signage applications will be submitted via this platform.
From this date, it will no longer be possible to submit planning applications by email. The link for the online portal will be provided by the town hall soon.
The Vie Val d'Is association has announced its new activities for members this winter. Every Tuesday at 5 p.m., members can learn to juggle. Basketball will be offered at 7 p.m. on the same day. Badminton for all levels will be available on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at noon, and volleyball will be offered on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. All sports activities will take place at the Aqua Leisure centre.
In addition, game nights will return every Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Media Library, and singing will take place every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Maison de Val.
The children got amongst it yesterday morning making delicious Christmas shortbread cookies. The four classes of the primary school made cookies from the dough prepared by the Perce-Neige retirement home. The firefighters' association purchased the ingredients. Teachers, after-school program staff, and some parents were also present to help the students. 217 bags of about ten cookies each, in ginger, cinnamon, lemon zest flavours were pre-ordered and can be picked up starting from tomorrow. €1,085 was raised from the sale of the Christmas shortbread cookies, and this sum will be donated to the firefighters for the Téléthon at the end of the week.

- The Red Shuttle will be circulating between La Daille and the Fornet every 5 minutes from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., every 10 minutes until 7 p.m. and then every 20 minutes until 2:30 a.m.
- The Yellow shuttle, up to the Manchet Valley, leaves every 20 minutes between 8:30 a.m. and 11:20 p.m.
- The Blue shuttle going up to the Legattaz is every 15 minutes between 8:30 a.m and 11:20 p.m.
- The free shuttle between Tignes and Val d'Isère runs 6 times a day :
