Today skies will remain overcast with a little more snowfall this morning, bringing around 1-5cm of fresh snow and up to 10cm up at higher altitude. Cloud cover stays heavy throughout the day, mainly high clouds, though some brighter spells are possible around midday. Winds are still quite strong this morning, then ease noticeably during the afternoon, finally dropping away by the evening.

Alta Badia Slalom
After leading the first run, our champion Clément Noël won the silver medal in the slalom at Alta Badia, Italy. Norwegian Atle Lie McGrath won this World Cup event, and Swiss skier Loïc Meillard finished third. This is his second podium finish of the season.
In the slalom standings, Clément Noël moved up to second place with a total of 182 points, followed by Paco Rassat in third, and Norwegian Timon Haugan, who remains in first place. Victor Muffat-Jeandet remains in the top 20, this time finishing 16th in the Alta Badia slalom.
Christmas Creative Workshops
The Elf Hut continues to welcome children and adults alike to enjoy a creative workshop where they can make their own Christmas decorations with Santa's helpers. As a reminder, four workstations will be available in the Tourism Office square, from 3 pm to 7 pm, and will be assigned according to the age and abilities of the participants.
ESF Show
To celebrate Christmas, the instructors of the French Ski School (ESF) will present an exceptional show with Santa Claus. The program includes a torchlight descent by the ski instructors down the Bellevarde slope, followed by the first fireworks display of the season. ESF instructors will offer hot chocolate and mulled wine to warm up while enjoying the show. Meet at the bottom of the Bellevarde slope at 6 pm.
Cyanotype Workshop
The Media Library invites you to discover the magic of cyanotype printing through a creative experience. Cyanotype is an old monochrome negative photographic process that produces a cyan-blue photographic print. The images are developed and printed using ultraviolet rays, such as sunlight. In this workshop, participants will be able to redraw their own inner landscapes using objects, plants, or images, and then print them using sunlight. The workshop, free and open to all, will be held at 10:00 AM at the Media Library.
Video Game Tournament
The big video game tournament is back for the Christmas holidays! The Media Library offers an immersive experience to take on the challenge with family or friends and try to win the tournament. The activity is free and open to the public aged 8 and up. Reservations can be made with the Media Library by phone, email, or directly at the Maison de Val. The video game tournament will begin this afternoon at 4:00 PM at the Cinéma Le Splendid. The video game tournament will return next Tuesday.

- Yellow Shuttle (Le Coin – Le Manchet): departs Le Coin at 8:28 a.m. and arrives
at Le Manchet at 11:20 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes.
- Purple Shuttle (Val d’Isère – Tignes): first departure from the new bus station at
7:55 a.m. and last at 6:20 p.m. Two request stops are planned on this route,
including La Reculaz and Le Villaret du Nial.
