Local News

Snow groomer breakdown

On Monday, a snow groomer broke down at the intersection of Vallon and Col de l’Iseran in Le Fornet. The machine, stuck on the piste, was moved by the ski patrol to the old Col ski lift, located at the edge of the piste. The patrollers suspect that the connection between the engine and the pumps has broken, preventing the hydraulic pumps from working and thus hindering the groomer's movement. The machine will remain at the edge of the piste until it is repaired.

In the women's competition, France's Camille Cerutti once again took first place in 2 minutes and 3 seconds, followed by Switzerland's Janine Maechler and France's Axelle Chevrier. Lila Rivet from Avallon finished in 22nd place. The Low Countries Championships will continue throughout the week on the OK and Orange tracks.
