Sports Equipment Collection

Starting today, the Haute Tarentaise Community of Municipalities is renewing its collection of used winter sports and leisure equipment. Conducted in partnership with the eco-organization Ecologic, this initiative aims to recover, sort, and recycle a large number of end-of-life items. Each year, this collection is part of a genuine environmental approach, consistent with the anti-waste law for a circular economy (AGEC). It contributes in particular to reducing waste production, improving recycling, and encouraging more responsible practices, especially in mountain areas where ski equipment represents a considerable volume of potential waste. All equipment can be dropped off, including skis, snowboards, ski boots, poles, snowshoes, sleds, goggles, and ice skates. Textiles and sneakers are not accepted. Three collection points are accessible to both individuals and professionals: the waste disposal centers in Tignes Les Brévières and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, and the municipal technical center in Montvalezan - La Rosière. Residents of Val d'Isère can drop off their used winter equipment at the Tignes Les Brévières waste disposal center until Wednesday, May 20th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Pelican Form

The Pelican association needs your feedback. After offering various initiatives to prevent risky behaviors related to tobacco, alcohol, and drug use, as well as providing harm reduction materials and screening for sexually transmitted infections, the association is conducting a survey among seasonal workers to prepare for the upcoming season. The eight-question questionnaire is anonymous and confidential and will help identify areas for improvement and gather feedback on the various initiatives implemented.
